Notification is required immediately when all accidents, sickness or injuries occur.

Permission must be granted from the insurance company prior to any surgical proceedure.

In the event of a loss, potential loss, or major medical claim please follow the steps below:

* Call your Veterinarian - the animals well being comes first!

* Report the loss, accident, sickness or disease immediately

* Request a Necropsy: A postmortem examination or autopsy in the event of a loss

* Call the Police in case of theft, shooting, or vehicular involvement

* Any person in care, custody and control must be notified of the above procedures

* Attain all accident details

* Attain names, addresses, and phone numbers of all witnesses

* Attain names, addresses, and phone numbers of police, fire, medical or hospital authorities

* Report any incidents to Asset Equine Insurance Agency, Inc.

* Take photos if possible

* Prevent any further damage if safe to do so

* Maintain all receipts for preventing further damage
